Combining a fresh paint job on the entire brick facade of this apartment building in Harrisonburg, Virginia, “Uplift” was a collaboration between the artist and owner of Riner Rentals. The mural was designed to span across doors, mailboxes and even new light fixtures.

Designed to convey the natural beauty of the Shenandoah Valley, it’s natural flora, and birds, “Uplift” also highlights a woman, at peace and in harmony with the world around her.

Over 130 different colors of spray paint were used to create “Uplift”. Good communication and report with the building’s tennants was essential in making this collaboration a successful and smooth process.
